Kerr’s really were exceptional. I moved from Edinburgh to Glasgow and it was a lot to organise, moving cities. But Kerrs made the move really easy for me. Really strong team, that worked well together and made it actually enjoyable. They were professional and very helpful, putting things just how I wanted them. They were good chat during the day packing and the day unloading, which to me felt like personal service, and I think that was a big part of taking the stress away. I felt I had a great team to keep me right. So I had no worries. That was really important to me on the day. Everything was in perfect order when I unpacked. I’m really grateful and I’m happy I chose them.

Kerr’s helped us with quite a complex move that involved three stages with, initially, an unknown end destination—and some large valuable items that we were quite precious about. We also needed flexible packing service done in a way that still allowed us to keep sense of what was in which box and where. The team were absolutely 5* from start to finish. Every person was friendly and highly professional—you really could tell that this is a family business in multiple generations, with the pride and care and expertise deployed. I said afterwards that we’d actually had two fun days moving – something that I didn’t even think conceptually possible!! A massive thank you to the team—I hope we can move to Edinburgh again in the future, if nothing else to use Kerr’s again!

Just getting round to writing this but what a genuine, transparent & reliable company. I loved the original Bill coming to my house to see what van size I would need & his visit was such an appreciated part of the process. Boxes & tape were dropped off in plenty time for packing & then on the day I can honestly say Billy & the boys made the day fun!!! Who would have thought moving could be enjoyable & much laughter was shared. Do not hesitate to book this team, you won’t regret it.

Highly recommend Kerr's. The team were very professional and looked after out things really well throughout the move. We used the packing service too. We had a delay with our move date and Kerr's were really understanding and flexible. Not planning on moving for a long time now but if we were to move again we'd definitely use Kerr's again. I had items in storage for 10 years, and during that time I was given access promptly whenever I asked. Costs very reasonable and service friendly and obliging.

I came to know Kerrs through moving home myself. Admittedly I didn’t leave a review at the time. On reflection, I should have done! I remember the team being very approachable, friendly, easy to talk to and very organised. They left such a good impression, that when it came to moving a tenants bulky belongings (including a desk and two cupboards) out of one of my let flats, I thought I might give them a call to see if they could help or point me in the right direction. Never in my wildest imagination did I think that they would be available to give me a hand that same week! Billy and Blair asked me to send across a few photos on WhatsApp and quickly scheduled me in for the following day. Blair called ahead of the pick up to check that it suited me and two gentlemen appeared at the door ready to give me a hand. What legends! They are living proof that there are good people out there! Had it not been for the team at Kerrs help today, I would have been dragging my two young children into town from North Berwick before nursery in an attempt to shift a cupboard/desk (while 6 months pregnant) ahead of a potential (but not guaranteed) council collection at 7am. Team at Kerrs- you went above and beyond for me. You transformed what could have been an incredibly stressful experience this week! I would of course recommend you without hesitation to anyone looking for a removal company they can absolutely rely on. Thank you very much from the very bottom of my heart.

We moved in March 2026 with two young children and would highly recommend using Kerr's. They were very organised, professional and responsive throughout. The staff are incredibly approachable. We were unsure whether we were moving right to the wire and they were so patient and provided flexible options. All of our stuff was handled carefully and well labelled, nothing damaged or broken. They worked incredibly hard and swiftly on the moving day, asking where we'd like boxes to go etc, and keeping us informed throughout. They also came and took all the cardboard boxes for recycling away once we'd unpacked a few weeks later which was a nice bonus!
